Es gibt wenige Aussichtsgipfel in den Alpen die so ein Traumpanorama wie der Gridone (2188m) bieten und dabei vergleichsweise wenig frequentiert sind.
Auf sehr schmalem Sträßchen schraubt man sich über Brissago am Lago Maggiore empor zu den Monti, den Almen, die heute oft als Wochenendhäuser dienen. Alleine die Anfahrt ist schon ein Erlebnis…traumhafte Blicke auf den Lago…
Die Straße endet an einem kleinen Parkplatz auf ca. 1090m. Am dortigen Brunnen füllt man besser nochmal frisches Quellwasser nach, denn vor der Capanna Al Legn , 700m höher und 1.5h später, gibt es keinen Nachschub. Auf gutem Weg schlängelt sich der Weg durch den lichten Wald empor. Besonders eindrucksvoll im Juni, wenn ein Teilabschnitt, der Goldregenwald, in voller Blüte steht. Die Marschzeit zur Hütte wird leicht überschritten, da das Lago Maggiore Panorama immer wieder Pausen zum schauen und staunen provoziert.
Die Capanna Al Legn ist einer dieser magischen Orte, die einen zum Verweilen “zwingen”. Hier war für manchen sicher die Tour auf den Gridone schon zu Ende….bei dem Panorama:
Die Hütte ist unbewirtschaftet, immer offen und hat einen voll bestückten Weinvorrat, wie in vielen tessiner Selbstversorgerhütten üblich. 
Vor der Tür Granittische und -bänke an denen man nach einem heißen Tag auch zu später Stunde noch von unten gewärmt wird. Das Panorama ist phantastisch und nur schwer zu überbieten. Nach Süden blickt man bis zum Lago di Varese und in die Poebene, während sich im Norden die Tessiner Alpen auftun und sich der Blick nach Westen bis zur Bernina und zum Monte Disgrazia erstreckt. Und direkt unter uns das endlose blaue Band des Lago Maggiore, den man fast in seiner ganzen Länge überblickt. In 20 Minuten erreichen wir schließlich die Boccetta del Valle, von der aus man einen phantastischen Tiefblick ins Centovalli hat. Vor uns liegt aber noch eine weitere Stunde Aufstieg, teils mit leichter Kraxelei über Felsen, bis wir schließlich auf dem Gridonegipfel mit seinem mächtigen Gipfelkreuz stehen.
Italien hinter uns und die Schweiz vor uns, oder umgekehrt……je nach Blickrichtung. Der Ausblick ist jedenfalls atemberaubend! Von der Monte Rosa Ostwand bis zur Bernina ….. …zum Gipfelpanorama - Video

Das sind wirklich traumhaft schöne Bilder, vor allem das Gipfelpanorama Video ist beeindruckend. Sowas real zu sehen ist wahrscheinlich unbeschreiblich. Einen Berg zu besteigen steht noch immer auf meiner Liste der Dinge die ich noch tun muss, danke für den weiteren Anreiz :-)
